Six hundred and sixteen years ago, Zheng He, a Chinese voyager in the Ming dynasty (1368-1644), was appointed as the admiral and emissary of the massive imperial fleet。What follows is a series of seven journeys, which extended the maritime and commercial influence of China. 

616年前，中国的航海家郑和率领船队扬帆起航，开启了七下西洋的伟大航程。

Recently, a 4K documentary, “Journey to the Sunshine”, explores the historical footprints of exchange and communication between China and Qatar through retaking the road of Zheng He Xia Xiyang (Ming treasure voyages) and also serves to discover the influence of seven peaceful naval expeditions causing on these two countries today, of which the win-win cooperation, open and inclusive spirit of the Silk Road would be showcased.
