Beijing’s Central Axis is about 7.8 kilometers long and runs from the Bell and Drum Tower to the Yongdingmen. 

O Eixo Central de Pequim tem cerca de 7,8 quilómetros de comprimento e vai desde a Torre do Sino e do Tambor até aos Yongdingmen. 

北京中轴线，北至钟鼓楼，南至永定门，全长约7.8公里。

Along this axis, there are many famous places, such as the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square and the National Stadium (Bird’s Nest). Some mysterious stories have also taken place here. 

Ao longo deste eixo, há muitos lugares famosos, tais como a Cidade Proibida, a Praça Tiananmen e o Estádio Nacional (Ninho de Pássaros). Algumas histórias misteriosas também tiveram lugar aqui. 

这条轴线上有不少中外闻名的建筑，比如故宫、天安门、鸟巢等，也有不少鲜为人知的故事。
