Su Bingtian from Guangdong broke the Asian record with 9.83 seconds in the men’s 100m semi-final at the Tokyo Olympic Games on August 1.

8月1日晚，中国广东运动员苏炳添在进行的东京奥运会男子100米半决赛以9秒83的成绩打破了亚洲纪录。

He finished sixth in the final with a time of 9.98 seconds and became the first Chinese to qualify for the Olympic 100-meter race.
