Recently, China officially began scientific research on lunar samples collected by its Chang’e-5 probe. A total of 17.4764 grams of the lunar samples were distributed to scientists from 13 domestic institutions.
嫦娥五号任务第一批月球科研样品研究工作近日正式启动,约有17.4764克月壤发放给13所科研机构。
Researchers will focus on glass particles in the soil samples to discuss the impact process and history of the moon.
科研人员将挑选月壤样品中的各类撞击玻璃,探讨月球的撞击过程和撞击历史。
The research of these precious samples will explore a fuller picture of the moon’s evolution and lay a foundation for learning more about the habitability of the planets in the solar system.
“无价之土”的研究不仅对月球的演化历史具有重要指示意义,也为了解内太阳系天体的宜居性演化提供支撑。
