With closed eyes, open mouth and tight limbs, an exaggerated clay sculpture of a “fat woman getting a vaccine” is gradually coming alive under the dexterous hands of Xu Hongfei, president of the Guangzhou Sculpture Institute.

紧闭的双眼、大张的嘴巴、紧绷的四肢……一尊略显夸张的“肥女打疫苗”泥坯，在广州雕塑院院长许鸿飞灵巧的双手下逐渐鲜活。

This is the latest work in Xu Hongfei’s anti-epidemic series, “Fat Women”, represents a humorous spirit.

“肥女”代表的是一种幽默的精神。

Xu Hongfei said he hopes to use art to express history so that future generations can remember this extraordinary period of fighting the epidemic.

许鸿飞认为希望用艺术去表达历史，希望后人能铭记这段不寻常的日夜。
