The global campaign to seek a name for Guangzhou's first pedestrian bridge across the Pearl River has attracted much attention since it was held. The ten shortlisted names mean different things to different people. 

广州首座珠江两岸人行桥全球征名活动自举办以来一直备受关注。经过公众投票，入围的十个名字寓意各有千秋。

For example, the Huacheng Bridge is named because it connects Huacheng Square and Guangzhou Tower, which not only reflects the characteristics of Guangzhou, but also has a sense of historical weight. 

其中，花城桥的命名是由于该桥连接花城广场与广州塔，不仅能体现广州美丽的花城特色，还带有历史的厚重感。

The Tongxin Bridge means that people in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area are working together to live a happy life. 

而同心桥则寓意粤港澳大湾区人民同心同向，奔赴幸福美好生活。
