With a gray knife stained with lime pulp, in just a few minutes, a three-dimensional old tree with new branches and fine leaves is presented on the wall.

This technique is called stucco relief, which is a traditional sculpture art in the Lingnan area. 

这种技艺叫做灰塑，是岭南地区的传统雕塑艺术。

Liang Yongtai, 63, is a stucco relief artisan. He has been involved in stucco relief since he was 13 years old. He hopes to restore the glory of traditional architecture and revive the cultural memory of this place.

63岁的梁永泰是一名灰塑手艺人，13岁时便与灰塑结下不解之缘，他希望重塑传统建筑的荣光，承载起这一方水土的人文记忆。
