Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed a Global Development Initiative in his speech at the 76th general debate of the UN General Assembly (UNGA), injecting confidence and calling to jointly address global threats and challenges to build a better world for all. 

国家主席习近平以视频方式出席第76届联合国大会一般性辩论，并发表题为《坚定信心 共克时艰 共建更加美好的世界》的重要讲话。

In his speech, Xi also talked about the fight against the pandemic, economic recovery, international relations and global governance, and proposed a series of new initiatives and measures.

就加强全球抗疫合作、促进世界经济复苏、构建新型国际关系、完善全球治理体系提出一系列新主张、新论断、新举措。
